Costs of Advertising

We work for a fixed fee - not commission - which is determined by the service chosen.

You can be assured of a prompt, professional service - as comments from our customers indicate.

Advertising on Homes By Web

Our usual fee is GBP 100 per property, until the property is sold.

For our standard package you provide us with up to four photographs and a 300 word description of the property, including contact details.

We set up a web page specific to your property, for as long as you require it.

In addition to the standard offering, we can also arrange for your site to feature one or more of:
  • Additional photographs (GBP15 each)
  • Additional text (eg a foreign translation)(GBP15 for each block of 300 words)
  • Link to Google Maps (GBP5)
  • Link from additional county or country page (GBP10 each)
  • Professional still photography (please ask for details)
  • Virtual tour(s) - a moving 360 degree film of individual rooms or grounds. (GBP250 for 4 tours then GBP40 for additional tours.)
  • Floorplans (for inclusion on the webpage) (GBP15 each if supplied or we can arrange - please ask for details)
  • Downloadable files (including large floor plans) (from GBP20, subject to size)
  • Recently added properties - free entry for a few days for all new properties. (Extend your stay for only GBP50 for one month)
  • Home of the Month - prime positioning on our three main pages:Welcome, Properties - UK and Properties - Overseas. (This very popular service only costs GBP100)
  • Submission to Fish4Homes, the leading UK property portal - this usually costs GBP25 but we are currently including it in our standard package
  • Submission to PropertiesDirect, the leading international private sale property portal Properties Direct only accepts listings from companies such as Homes By Web.. We include this submission in our standard package.

In addition, Homes By Web is pleased to note that we are now able to offer special rates to those on our site who wish to advertise in the Financial Times.

The one-stop package is more efficient for advertisers and includes:
  • an advertisement in the Financial Times property page
  • all relevant high-quality artwork produced by our internationally-acclaimed graphic artist
  • negotiations with the FT over heading, size, date etc
  • one single invoice

In all cases, if the property is not the seller's main residence then a different, more commercial, advertising rate may need to be charged.

In all cases, payments can be made in other currencies eg:
  • Euros (EUR) - multiply the GBP price by 1.75
  • US dollars (USD) - multiply the GBP price by 2.25
  • Canadian dollars (CAD) - multiply the GBP price by 2.5
  • Australian dollars (ASD) - multiply the GBP price by 2.75

10% of our gross profit is given away to charities helping the homeless.
